Living In Plain Sight:
Lessons From The Book of Daniel
During the months of January, February and March, the sermons in our Sunday Worship Services will focus on the Old Testament book of Daniel. This book presents a paradox in that it has some of the best known and easiest to understand accounts of faith put into action, and at the same time some of the most difficult to understand prophecies. The prophet Daniel demonstrates a sense of identity with God that is so significant that he is able to live out his faith very publicly in a culture that did not share his religious convictions.
This week Pastor Chet's sermon is entitled:
"I Am a Part of the Plan of God"
The Book of Daniel, Chapters 4 & 5
Regardless of what difficulty may come into our lives, having a proper understanding of our identity with God makes all the difference. It is that identity that determines both what we live for and how we live. You are encourage to read Daniel 3 in advance of this sermon.

Daniel 3:16-18
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego replied to the king, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”
